Ann Curry
Ann Curry is an American photographer and journalist who has been reporting for over 45 years, focusing on human suffering in the aftermath of natural catastrophes and war zones. Curry has covered wars across the world, including in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ann Curry, (born November 19th 1956, Agana American journalist and TV anchor and news reporter. She is most famous for her role as a correspondent for the Today program, which was a morning news program aired on the National Broadcasting Co. (NBC). Curry was well-known for her reporting about natural disasters as well as war torn countries. Curry is the daughter of an U.S. Navy sailor and the daughter of a Japanese woman. Curry's parents met in Japan, where her father had been stationed following World War II. Due to her father's service in the military, they moved a lot. Curry finished her high school education within Ashland Oregon. She graduated in 1978 at the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in journalism. When she was a young woman, she was exposed to many kinds of cultures. Her empathetic attitude towards international affairs is probably a result of her experiences.
